Delivery
All orders are transported via our Fine Furniture Delivery Company* based in Massachusetts. Since most of our merchandise is made on demand and finished by a craftsperson, order delivery timeframes are generally 8-10 weeks for most areas East of the Mississippi. In areas that are West of the Mississippi, delivery is 10-12 weeks. You can email us if you would like to know the delivery timeframe for your area.

About Fine Furniture Delivery*:
Due to the large size of most of our items, purchases require shipping by a carrier who specializes in transporting high-quality furniture. All of our furniture items are delivered with a "White Glove Service". This means that the delivery company wraps your items in a blanket and bring the items into your home and place them in your desired location. The delivery company will contact you within one week of delivery (usually the Friday prior) to give you a delivery date and timeframe (always a two-hour window).

*Delivery persons reserves the right to decline placing the piece in a desired in-house location if the spot is unusually tough to navigate, obstructed or beyond "normal" delivery patterns. Please advise us when ordering if this situation exists. We can ship to the 48 contiguous states. We regret that we cannot ship internationally or to the US Virgin Islands, Hawaii and Alaska.

Delivery Charges
Since many of our items are large-scale or heavy, the cost to ship the items can be higher than other small items ordered online. Kate Madison has negotiated the best rates to deliver these items to arrive in top-condition -- we do not make money on shipping. We use a professional company that specializes in Specialty Furniture delivery. At Kate Madison, we believe that the item's quality and final cost will surpass other furniture sellers.

Pick-Up
To forego shipping charges, you may pick-up your purchases at our store in Kennebunk, Maine. To arrange to pick-up an item, simply call us at (207) 967-8989 or email us at customerservice@katemadison.com.

Returns / Exchanges
Returns or exchanges are available for those items that may have some quality issue, or are not what you ordered.

If you receive an item that is not what you ordered either in product type; product size; and/or color choice, please tell the delivery driver and he will ship the item back to us. Kate Madison will either refund the item cost; replace the item with the correct item; or offer credit to use on another purchase.

We stand by our furniture, if you are not pleased with an item please contact us as soon as possible so that we may determine the issue. In some instances, a restocking fee of 15% may apply. We regret that shipping charges cannot be refunded. Any custom-built items, or custom finishes, cannot be returned. Customer service can be reached at (800) 931-5283.

Damaged Items
Upon delivery each item will be inspect for damage. In rare event that an item arrives damaged, the delivery team will ship the item back at no cost to you. Please keep in mind that the items are designed to have an antique appearance with solid wood and distressed finishes. Wood has natural character not found in manufactured wood or pressboard. Imperfections add to the character of piece and are not considered damaged.

Online Ordering / Payment
Kate Madison offers 100% secure ecommerce transactions. We accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Check payments. You can make an online purchase by simply selecting the item, color, then step through the online payment process. If paying by check, you will need to email customerservice@katemadison.com to receive additional payment information.

Our Guarantee
Kate Madison furniture is guaranteed. We pride ourselves in carrying quality, handcrafted furniture. If you do not like the item you have purchased for any reason, you may return the time for 15 days after receipt for a refund or exchange, however, we regret that shipping charges cannot be refunded.
