The 48" Round Turned Base Pedestal Table is a great choice as a dining table, or kitchen table, for your french country home.
The entire table is made of solid wood: no pressboard, mdf, or veneers are used. The table base has a simple ball base turning that is timeless and elegant. The top is made from solid pine (or birch) and framed by a simply designed apron skirt. The hardwood turned pedestal base is anchored by (4) contoured feet for stability and add another detail to the overall table design.
The 48" Inch Round Turned Base Pedestal Table is intended for daily use and will gain character with years of wear. Every top is water-sealed and waxed to prevent water rings and perfect for everyday use. All tops are an easy care soap and water clean-up, no need to worry about upkeep and maintenance.
The round turned base table has a thick 1 1/4" top with a variety of top styles available; "Stained Pine" new pine wood, "Vintage Wood" reclaimed barnwood tops, "Hand-Planed" new pine planed and distressed, and "Birch" solid hardwood.
The French Country Round Turned Base Table can be finished in any of our milk paint or stain finishes for an elegant traditional, cottage or rustic style.

All of the finishes that we offer on our furniture are uniquely French Country. We offer traditional milk paint finishes and low VOC stains that are healthy for you and the environment.
All finishes are hand applied, then lightly rubbed, for time worn character. Our "Aged Finish" stains are achieved with multiple coats of stain followed by the application of a glaze. Our finishers lightly surface distress tops for a time worn appearance. All finishes are water sealed and waxed for easy care, everyday use.

"Stained Pine" is our standard solid wood top featured on all furniture pieces.

"Hand Planed" is a solid Pine top which has a planed down surface to open the grain of the wood to allow a deeper stain color. This technique provides an uneven, grooved surface for a more rustic look.

"Vintage Pine" is made from reclaimed wood from old hunting cabins, buildings, and cottages. No two tops are alike, some are more rustic than others, they can be very distressed by their weather worn age. You should expect that some have divots and worming.

"Birch" is a hardwood top that has less wood grain and no knots when compared to Pine. Birch is a popular choice for customers looking for a harder top for children or heavy wear.

Aged Finish tops are achieved with a stain, glaze and surface distressing. You choose the table top that fits your style of table.
