Top Styles/Farm Table:

Our farm tables all have unique characteristics like: the 2” thick trestle table top table, 1 ¼” solid-wood barnwood farm table with company board extensions, 72” large round pedestal dining table, and v-grooved top of the elegant country French dining table. There are many farm table styles and options to choose from depending on whether your home is French country, modern, farmhouse, traditional, English country, cottage, lake or a mountain home.

In addition to our traditional and rustic wood farmhouse tabletops, we offer solid, new wood tops that can be stained in Espresso or Walnut for a modern style. We offer rounded edges, square edges, and knife-cut edges and ogee edges on different farm table styles. These slight details give each farm tabletop either a rustic or traditional style depending on your home style.

Base Styles / Farm Table:

There are many farm table base options, so how so do you choose? The farm table base you choose is both a stylistic decision as well as functional one.

Tip: Before buying a farm table consider your space requirements, and how many people you’d like to seat.

Looking for a dining table in a small kitchen nook? A trestle table or pedestal table is ideal to seat the maximum amount of guests without the impediment of legs. These types of farm tables fit snuggly into a corner or nook and can be navigated around for seating easily.

Have a large dining room where you’d like to seat large parties? A leg table or extension dining table is the perfect solution. Leg farm tables seat the maximum guest for the length and come with extension leaves to seat 4 additional guests when you have a crowd for dinner.

Whether you want an antique white farm table with a natural stained top or a black farm table with an espresso top—we’ve got the colors and stains for you!

All of our paint and stain finishes are low-VOC, which makes them health for you and the environment. We use traditional milk-paint colors for the bases of our farm tables. The water-based stains are used on the tops. We then water-seal and wax the tabletops so they stand-up to daily use. No water rings on our farm tables, EVER!

Painted Farm Table Colors: There are so many great colors to choose from: Pure White, Antique White, Buttermilk, Sage, Pear, Cranberry, Barn Red, Storm Grey, Navy Blue, Light Blue, Black, and Millstone Grey. You get to select the color of your choice if you opt for a two-tone paint and stain option.

Stained Farm Table Colors: Natural is our most popular color for tabletops and interiors of our furniture. It’s our own mix of a mid-tone amber stain that works great with light or dark wood tones. But, we also have many rich stain colors like, Espresso, Walnut, Caramel, Tuscan Sunset, Black Cherry, Aged-Finish, Grey and Black stains. Let your imagination run wild—the color you choose can transform the farm table’s style from modern farmhouse to rustic cottage or to elegant manor home. Color choices set the tone for the piece.

The 48” round can be customized up to 54” round with two extensions! Our grand 72” round pedestal dining table is available in standard sizes of 54” round and 60” round. How do I determine the correct size for a dining table?

Before buying a farm table, measure your space! Buying the correct size dining table for your space requires good measurements. As a rule of thumb: You’ll need a "minimum" of 24” from the table top edge to the wall on all sides of the table. This will allow a guest to pull out their chair, and sit. This will be tight, but workable. Ideally, 36” is a comfortable distance from the wall to allow for a seated guest with room to walk behind the chair and serve and pass food.

For example: If your dining room is 10ft wide x 12ft. long subtract 6ft. for both sides (length and width) of the table = 6ft. long farm table is the ideal size. A 7ft. farm table would work as well, but you’ll have 6” less on each end of the farmhouse table for moving around the table.
